We are looking for someone to join our Core IT Services department as a Service Specialist; which is essentially 2nd line support.
We're looking for someone who has dabbled in IT (administration, trying to figure out when things don't work) but perhaps isn't an expert. Maybe you've found that you're good with technology at home? Or that you're particularly service-minded, and are looking for a 9-5, office based job?
What we would like to see is someone who is interested in developing, but is not in a hurry to become an independent consultant right away.
Within a service focused department, it's useful to have employees who move at different paces - some with an ambition for quick development/the intention to jump from one level to the next, and those who are happy to delve in at one particular level and really hone in their skills and focus on providing top-notch customer care.
We're hoping that our Service Specialist (Level 2) would like to stay as a Specialist for a good while; becoming the go-to person for any issues at that level.
Examples of tasks/responsibilities as a Service Specialist:
- Troubleshooting related to hardware, software and Microsoft services
- Tasks such as: account creation, system administration, phone set-up/errors, errors in outlook etc.
- Learning our routines/procedures/systems and being on top of admin
- Assisting customers over the phone, as well as via email
- Learning on the job and from other colleagues
- Learning when to tackle issues independently and when to escalate to a Level 3 colleague.
- Completing certifications such as: MD-102, MS-102 or AZ-140.

We believe our Service Specialist has:
- A background in customer services or customer care
- A decent understanding of basic IT
- A positive attitude & sociable personality
- Dedication to their craft
We also believe that you are a person who:
- Collaborates effectively with others and builds good relationships with colleagues
- Communicates effectively
- Speaks fluent Swedish and English
- Above all, displays kindness in everything they do 💞
